How often do we find ourselves wanting to justify ourselves? And, we do it, not because we would like people to think of us as good parents, or good Christians, but because we need people to think of us in those ways. We find ourselves enslaved to the need for people’s approval. However, in this sermon, Alan Stanley reminds us that what people think of us, doesn’t count. It doesn’t count because God has already justified us. And so, we don’t need to spend our lives attempting to justify ourselves in the eyes of others. Which frees us to serve one another in love.

Alan Stanley preaching on how the Gospel frees us from the need to prove ourselves, from Galatians 5, on the 26th of February, 2017.
